This proposal, as part of a User Interface / User Experience skills test, was for the popular Facebook game Friends for Sale

This game had a lot of elements going in a very positive direction: humorus concept, balanced game play and good community interaction among other things. The “pick-up and play” aspect of the game however was not where I felt it needed to be.

Repositioning, resizing and adjusting the styling of key elements would present a clearer visual experience and the ability to play and react to changing situations in the game.

One professional's reaction:

“Yours is much more user-friendly. A lot more, in fact. Where you placed things is where I would have expected to find them. Yours is certainly more simplified and easier to visually navigate. To be honest, I have no intention of using the game as it is because it looks like too much effort. Yours doesn't suffer from that perception.”
