In today's professional climate, a designer has to have basic knowledge of basic scripting languages, typically HTML and CSS. I have worked very diligently over the past few years to develop advanced knowledge of Web Standards Development including Accessibility, valid XHTML/CSS and ActionScript. I am currently focusing Javascript and jQuery.

I was asked to work with Ellipse Design in adding accessibility features to a government website as well as develop the ActionScript for the design of a multimedia CD. I also made design suggestions for the user interface and experience including an interactive map and insuring the navigation reflected a user's expectation.

Tight deadlines with multiple tiers of client approval made this a challenging and rewarding project.
