Frequently Asked Questions

Why Peter Michaels Allen?

Because my dad is Peter DeWitt Allen - it gets a little confusing professionally when discerning between the two.

What do you charge?

Due to certain professional relationships I have recently developed, I can not offer an online price list. I can however tell you, I work at an hourly rate and payment arrangements are based on the project type (i.e. Web site, print ad, business card, etc.).

What is your availability?

I am very honest and forthcoming about my availability for taking on new clients so not to leave them hanging unsupported. I am also very careful to make sure that I do not take on too much work at once to ensure product quality, full oversight, and to adhere to deadlines as closely as possible.

Because of my professional flexibility, I am able to create a variety of models that provide the maximum benefit of support..

I heard you do more than design. What else do you do?

While I am first and foremost a Designer (Graphic, Web, User Interface, etc.), I also offer my services to clients as a marketing strategist and advisor. Marketing and Design often fall under the same professional heading, but their goals are often in conflict. My clients value my ability to evaluate their needs and find a balance for a maximized business strategy.

What is your recipe for crepes?

No way am I giving that up. Not for all the tea in China... but maybe all the wine in Tuscany.
