About Jeff Conner

President of Chester River Carpentry

Jeffrey C. Conner has worked as an active member of the construction industry since 1985. Jeff began his career in the construction of timber frame homes in Talbot County, Maryland and then moved to Colorado in 1989 where he began working on large custom log and frame homes.

He was also instrumental in the development of new commercial spaces in historic districts. One of his greatest experiences during this time included the restoration and remodel of the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Telluride.

Jeff began his own enterprise in 1995 and returned to Chestertown in 1999 where he established Chester River Carpentry, LLC to focus his efforts of historic restoration on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. He currently resides in Chestertown with his wife, Ellen, and their two children.
